my sisters have been talking about the mary tyler moore show for a while now.
i don't know why it took me so long to catch on!
this show is amazing!
i'm only halfway through season one, but i've already learned that...
1. rhoda has some serious style [and what's with all the fat jokes?? she's not fat!]
2. i want mary's apartment
3. ted baxter never fails to make me laugh
and
4. this show is 30 years old and it's still relatable.
watch it.
you won't regret it.

-i can't stop listening to "don't play that song" by aretha franklin.
I WANT HER VOICE.
-whip it was even better the second time.
if i ever get to be on a roller derby team, my name will be akilla the hun.
-whenever i make a to-do list, i find myself adding things to the list that i've already done just so i can check them off and feel good about myself.
weird?

I love MTM!! It's classic. And no, I love to cross things off and do the same thing. Love, Mom
this show is so great. kirk and i are watching season 5 right now. and i actually think that rhoda is prettier than mary. you're right, she's definitely not fat. when she ends up losing weight, she looks too skinny, and it makes her look older.
Well hello there Kellie! This is your friend Mary speaking through the computer. It's not a matter of IF you get on the derby team but WHEN... haha and you are going to have the best name.
And sorry it seems like whenever you are around I'm always doing something or am crazy busy...I wish I could hang with you more often...we still have 3 months though c:
NOT weird. I always add things I've done to my lists. love tal tal
oh yeah. love the MTM. i used to watch that on nick at night. I remember being in high school and being like 'yay! MTM reunion show is on tonight!'
heh.
and i love mary's apartment, too.
p.s. in the first season, mary and rhoda say they're 30. really? because she looks 30 (i think) or close to - in the dick van dyke show (another one i like) and it's in B&W!
i wonder how old she really was...
