in my history of design and illustration class on monday we learned about charles and ray eames.
they are a husband and wife duo who were very influential in the world of american modernist design,
and they just happen to be the cutest couple ever.
as we looked at their work, it really spoke to me. i loved everything i saw!
this is their home. BEAUTIFUL.

eames' and other 'mid century modern' stuff is totally popular right now. if you look on apartment therapy and ohdeedoh you'll see a lot of eames chairs and rockers!
Their home is one of my top favorites. Modern, but so warm and full of folk influences as well.
