i think i need a vacation.

today my parents, brother, and sister arrived in beautiful san diego to visit my brother and his family.

instead of being there, i am stuck in a place where it is necessary to get approval from the rexburg city council for a bunch of people to do a "zombie walk" on main street and where the mayor spoke against the whole shebang by saying, "Some of these parades across the country have got some crackpots in it that are not properly dressed for Rexburg standards."
